Link Grid - Main Application Window

This is the main application window. You can double click on any link to view / edit the link properties or edit the link right in the grid. Links can be sorted by name, category, status, or any other column in the grid.

The toolbar at the top includes project controls allowing you to quickly change projects (and that project's associated links), add a new project, edit your project's settings, and duplicate your project. There are also two extra buttons that will create your link directory and check your links to ensure they contain a reciprocal link to your web site. Below the project toolbar is the link toolbar which contains all the buttons required to manage your links including add new link, delete link, send email to a web site, and history (log) of each link.

Edit Link Window

This is the edit link window that allows you to edit or add a new link. By entering the web site URL in first, you can press the fetch button that will retrieve the link title, description and other information from the web site saving time from having to enter this information in manually. (You need to be connected to the Internet to use this feature.)

Each link can be categorized by a main category and subcategory. There is also a status field that allows you to easily keep track of whether or not the web site wants to link back, have been contacted by email, or many other pre-defined or custom statuses. There is a comments field allowing you to store notes on each link.
